I am creating this blog in order to share my talents with all who may be interested. I design floral arrangements for large events. I have over twenty years of experience. It is so much fun to work with a Bride planning her wedding and reception. I am very creative, and have worked with extremely diverse venues.
I have arranged autumn flowers in pumpkins, created luminaries from pie pumpkins, used lights in tinted water, contributed my silver trays and candlelabra for added "bling". I love to surprise the Bride. After all, it is one of the biggest days of her life. Most importantly, it should be an extremely fun, enjoyable experience. Too many stress out over details. I always tell them that they are the only ones who know what is planned, what may be missing, or little flukes. No one else will know unless you make an announcement! Most of the time, the little things that "go wrong" are the memorable ones -- in a good way! I once saw a very demure bride cast a very "strong" look at her new husband as she told him to slow down. He was almost dragging her down the aisle! It was really cute and got a good laugh.
I have designed "fun" arrangements for cocktail parties, using glittery branches with wired flowers. Very light and airy, and pretty! You can use matching vases, or grab every type of vessel for a very personal look -- not so uniform and formal.
I hope you will be interested enough to contact me and plan an event. I will keep expanding this site as soon as I figure out what I am doing!
